Do you enjoy honey spread thick on toast? The perfect honeys for toast are the ones that have a good texture for spreading thick on toast and butter, not the runny ones that escape and run off so easily! And of course they need a great flavour - I love the comforting rich honeys on my toast.
Enjoy a small batch raw honey from a British local beekeeper that would be PERFECT on toast. On each jar we write the name of the keeper, where they kept their bees, when the honey was taken off and how many jars of that honey the bees produced.
The beekeepers have just spun their honey out of the frame and run it through a sieve, nothing else - so all the delicious natural flavours of the gardens, meadows, fields and woodlands that their bees visited remain.
This is what we mean by 'raw honey' - no processing, heating, blending, adding or taking away - it's as close to how the bees made it as you can get. Which means everyone is different, reflecting the time, place and bees that made it.

PROVENANCE
We visit every one of our beekeepers to see where they keep their bees and exactly where the honey is from. We chat about the season they've had and all things honey and bees. I love these trips and discovering the small scale local beekeepers who are doing so much for our bees and environment. They and their bees deserve to be shown off and their honeys enjoyed far and wide!
SUSTAINABILITY
We work with small scale British beekeepers who we visit to talk bees with and see the bees and landscapes that make each honey. All of our beekeepers are good custodians of their bees and the woodlands, meadows, gardens and fields they keep them in. They talk to local farmers, landowners, fellow allotment owners and councils to encourage planting for pollinators, sustainable woodland management and protecting the natural landscape for their bees. Our aim is to bring you special limited edition honeys from more and more British beekeepers: as long as they're good custodians of their bees of course!
Our jars and labels are all British sourced to keep our transport miles and carbon footprint low. We absorb the extra cost
